Even if we had a hundred pavilions like this, it still wouldn’t be enough to tell the stories of all the worthy people who work, create and win in the name of Ukraine. Write their stories, awards, achievements — and they will appear on this screen during the exhibition.
Courage, strength and Ukrainian ingenuity changed the course of the war. On land, on water, and in the sky.
Against an enemy that far outmatches us in resources, we deployed smart power — our weapons. Against heavy machinery we used drones — fast and ubiquitous FPV systems. Against oil refineries — deep strikes and missiles that reach further than a 1000 kilometres. The myth of an invincible Russian fleet was dispelled by maritime drones. Once, nimble and maneuverable Cossack chaikas changed the balance of power in the Black Sea. Now their heirs — Sea Baby and Magura drones — have struck more than 40 Russian ships over the course of the war.
But the greatest Ukrainian treasure is its people. Those who invent, refine and build. Those who stand in defense of their state. Those who protect the millennia-old dream of our ancestors — an independent Ukraine. We bow to each and every one of them.
Magura — a Ukrainian maritime strike drone developed by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) — has become a striking example of boldness through engineering. Magura was the world’s first-ever drone to sink a warship; it carried out the first destruction of an aerial target and a combat aircraft, and set a record by striking 15 enemy ships and boats in 2023–2024. It proved that even a fleet that vastly outnumbered Ukraine’s could be stripped of its advantage through smart force and innovation.
